2. Data processed for the provision of the website and the creation of log files

a. Which data are processed for which purpose?

On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us. This may be, for example, data that you enter in a contact form.
Each time you access content on the website, data that may allow identification is temporarily stored. The following data are collected:

– Hostname of the accessing computer

The temporary storage of the data is necessary for the duration of a website visit in order to enable delivery of the website. Further storage in log files takes place to ensure the functionality of the website and the security of information technology systems. These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing.

In order to ensure data protection-compliant processing, Consul Werkstattausrüstung GmbH has concluded a contract for order processing with the hoster.

d. How long is the data stored?

The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. The log files are kept directly and exclusively accessible to administrators for 24 hours. After that, they are only available indirectly via the reconstruction of safety tapes and are permanently deleted after four weeks.
3. Rights of data subjects

a. Right to information

You may request information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR about your personal data that we process.

b. Right to object:

You have the right to object on specific grounds (see point II).

c. Right to rectification:

If the information concerning you is not (any longer) correct, you can request a correction in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you can request that it be completed.

d. Right to erasure:

You may request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR.

e. Right to restriction of processing:

Pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

f. Right to appeal:

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law, you have to comply with Art. 77 para. 1 GDPR the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority of your choice. This also includes the data protection supervisory authority responsible for the controller: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia, P. O. g. Right to data portability

In the event that the requirements of Art. 20 para. 1 GDPR, you have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are mandatory for the operation of the website. They are therefore not based on consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR, but are subject to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The requirements of Art. 20 para. 1 DS-GVO are therefore not complied with in this respect.
II. Right to object pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR

You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data which is based on Article 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, to file an objection. The controller then no longer processes the personal data, unless he can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are mandatory for the operation of the website.

Newsletter data

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
